How to Block Minecraft Videos on YouTube Kids
YouTube Kids is a great platform for children to watch age-appropriate videos, but sometimes you might want to block certain content, like Minecraft videos. There are a few ways to do this:
1. Using the "Block" Feature
- Open YouTube Kids and log in to your parent account.
- Search for a Minecraft video you want to block.
- Tap on the three dots in the upper right corner of the video.
- Select "Block".
This will prevent your child from seeing this specific video.
2. Using the "Disapprove" Feature
- Open YouTube Kids and log in to your parent account.
- Tap on the "Watch History" tab to see your child's viewing history.
- Find a Minecraft video you want to disapprove.
- Tap on the three dots in the upper right corner of the video.
- Select "Disapprove".
This will prevent your child from seeing this specific video and will also prevent similar videos from appearing in their recommendations.
3. Using YouTube Kids' App Settings
- Open YouTube Kids and log in to your parent account.
- Tap on the "Settings" icon.
- Select "Recommended Content".
- Choose "Off".
This will completely disable the "Recommended" tab and remove the "Explore" section from the app.
4. Using YouTube Kids' Channel Blocking
- Open YouTube Kids and log in to your parent account.
- Search for a Minecraft channel you want to block.
- Tap on the three dots in the upper right corner of the channel.
- Select "Block".
